Each December, Legacy Ballet hosts an event to help ring in the holiday cheer at the Albany Performing Arts Center (West Albany High School campus). Our Holiday Treats and Some Sweets performances provides a casual holiday performance opportunity for our dancers to share with their families and friends what they have been learning so far this year and creates some amazing fun holiday memories.

Each class will be learning a holiday dance during class time to share for the “Holiday Treats and Some Sweets”. If a dancer is not able to participate, they still will be included in learning the choreography during class time. Costumes will be either something you already have, can easily make, inexpensively find locally, or be borrowed from our studio costume inventory. Each class instructor will let their class know what they want dancers to wear. No dress rehearsal will be required! This makes for even more fun and giggles at the performance!

Our “Holiday Treat and Some Sweets” event includes a dessert share, so your favorite holiday desserts can be brought in to share. Please note, due to regulations, goodies must be store bought or commercially made.

Classes with younger dancers perform in one of the two performances, so make sure which performance(s) your dancer is performing in.

Sunday December 21st 2pm and 6pm. Tickets available online for participating families by private link. Email legacyballetdirector@gmail.com to request ticket link. If not sold out, tickets will open to the general public the week of the performances.
